Okay. The enchanting plot is ready. Refer to my original posting on tailoring on how to read these plots.
1). Plot 1, cost in gp plotted against skill points gained.
2). Running total of all GP spent to skill point 375
Observations:
much more expensive than tailoring (at least 500 GP more expensive). There are two maximums: around 300 and around 375. I also found that there is a huge jump in cost whenever you have to create an new rod.

Nice graphs! Is the spike at rod creation due to the cost of the rod, or the other mats? Might it be useful to have a pet BS to make your rods? Thanks for crunching #'s for us!
Hi, I mentioned on my blog that there are a couple of spots where you can create oils, which is theoretically much cheaper than finding other enchanting formulas mats - with the added bonus, that casters will chew through them, so efficient and practical

Gnomeaggedon,
Excellent point. I find this true on my server as well. For consistency I used the leveling guide to calculate all my costs.
Depends on realm and market condition you may find using alternative leveling routes nets you big savings.
Many people level enchanting with tailoring (or after) as the green items you make during leveling your tailoring can be DE'd to make mats for leveling enchanting. Big savings :)
Nice post. Here is a topic I wrote that can utilize some of these professions and make up the lost gold used in leveling up. Check it out and tell me what you think:
